KLMUN 2012

Life has been busybusybusy, explains the long hiatus. :(

Anyways I went to KLMUN last week at GIS. :D Though it seems a bit different this year since most of the old timers have left for university and new faces were everywhere in the committees.

Saeshan! He's moving to Virginia. :/

I was selected to be the delegate of Brazil in the Security Council this year, albeit a rather irrelevant country to the topic we had. Somehow the atmosphere isn't like the previous MUNs we had over the years, it just seems to be more mundane than usual. Well I would attribute that to the topics we had this year, which was the situation in Syria and an emergency topic on Israel vs. Iran. It's something I would call topics with limited debatability.

Nevertheless it was fun! The most epic thing that happened was Kriishand teaching Abhishek how to catwalk, in style.

Oh, and I dropped my camera. :'(

20120204

The TTDI Photography Society meeting was held on Friday at Jen's Studio. I managed to get my hands on a very rare and expensive camera. :D

A Hasselblad H4D! It costs about one car, and that was without the lens. The one in the photo is a 100mm f/2.2. The camera belongs to Jen, it's his studio camera and he uses it for his commercial and portrait shooting.

What makes this camera so special? Well for one thing the sensor is many times larger compared to the usual dslrs, meaning that the photos taken will be extremely clean. And it has 40 freakin megapixels. Nuff said.

Our scuba gears

I had my first confined water dive for the PADI Open Water Diver course today, it was sooo fun! BD The only scaryy part was when we needed to take our masks off and open our eyes underwater and breathe for 1 minute. Chlorine water hurts your eyes. >.<

Houses with peculiar walls.

Exams coming soon. :(
